Since April 2002, "New Life for Thai (NLFT)," a compassionate ministry project of the Thailand District Church of the Nazarene, started helping those suffering from HIVS and AIDS in Thai society.  This project is under the umbrella of Nazarene Ministries Development Foundation in Thailand.  The staff and volunteers are Nazarenes who are trained to share love and compassion with HIV/AIDS victims.  NLFT offers services of counseling, visitation, HIV/AIDS awareness, medical assistance, food, education and training.  This gives opportunity for the NLFT team to establish relationships with HIV/AIDS victims and families.  It also involves working with hospitals, health centers and NGOs, who refer patients to the staff and volunteers of the NLFT team.
